IMPORTANT NOTICE
All licensed and exempted Secondhand Goods Dealers are required to submit purchase transaction records including particulars of customers in Secondhand Goods Transaction Records System (SHOTS).
Those who do not comply may be liable for prosecution in court and if convicted, be sentenced to a fine not exceeding SGD $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.

INTRODUCTION
All Secondhand Goods Dealers are required to submit customers and transaction records for all purchases of scheduled secondhand goods in SHOTS.
Dealers are also required to screen secondhand goods with serial numbers in SHOTS before purchasing them.
Dealers should not purchase the item(s), if the screening result shows “RECORD FOUND”.Please call ‘999’ immediately if the person who presented the item with “RECORD FOUND” is in the shop. If not, please make a police report with the name and address of the person who presented the item.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. All licensed and exempted Secondhand Goods Dealers trading in scheduled secondhand goods.
