IMPORTANT NOTICE
The medical examination must be completed within 2 months prior to your birthday. The completed medical examination report must be submitted to Traffic Police at least 4 weeks prior to your birthday.
Class 2B, 2A, 2, 3C(A), 3C, 3A & 3
You must submit the completed medical examination report, to Traffic Police prior to your 65th birthday and every 3 years thereafter (e.g. age 68, 71, 74).
Class 4, 4A, 5
You must submit the completed medical examination report to Traffic Police prior to your 65th birthday, and every year thereafter if you wish to drive until the age of 75. Upon approval of your medical examination report by Traffic Police (you may use this e-service to check the status of your submission), you must pass the proficiency / enhanced proficiency driving test before your driving licence can be validated. The booking of your proficiency / enhanced proficiency driving test can be done at Woodlands Test Centre (WTC) located at 2 Woodlands Industrial Park E4 S(757387).
INTRODUCTION
If you are 65 years of age and above, holding a Singapore driving or provisional driving licence, you are required to undergo a medical examination and be certified fit to drive a vehicle, by a Singapore registered medical practitioner, in order to continue driving in Singapore.
