IMPORTANT NOTICE
This service is for applicants who possess a Foreign Driving Licence and do not possess a valid Singapore Qualified Driving Licence.
Foreigners holding a valid foreign driving licence residing in Singapore for a period not exceeding 12 months are not required to convert their Foreign Driving Licence to a Singapore Driving Licence to drive in Singapore, unless you become:
A new citizen or permanent resident of Singapore and a work pass driver is only allowed to use his/her foreign driving licence in Singapore for 3 months and 6 months respectively.
New Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident who had previously obtained a Singapore driving licence using a Foreign Identification Number (FIN), are to update their new status in their Singapore driving licence through a replacement application, using their Singapore identify number (NRIC).

Only applicants whose documents are in order and have met the eligibility criteria will be given an appointment date. The applicants are to bring the original and photocopies of the documents to TP during the appointment for verification and make payment for the driving licence to complete the conversion process. The waiting time between submission of application and finalising the conversion process is at least 6 weeks.
